Dear Mr. Heatley:

   I am writing to request access to records in the possession of the Clayton County School System, its agents, employees, or other representatives.  Please provide me with the records which indicate the total sum of monies paid to the Brock Clay Law Firm of Marietta and to Glenn Brock, a partner in the named law firm.  I want the aggregate amount of monies paid to Brock Clay and to Glenn Brock in the years 2007, 2008, and 2009, including the money paid for any superintendent search.

   This request is made pursuant to the Georgia Opens Records Act, O.C.G.A. Sections 50-18-70 and -71 and any other applicable statutes or board policies.  I first want an opportunity to visually inspect these records, and should I choose to receive a copy of any of the requested record(s), I understand that I will be responsible for the cost of duplication of records requested herein, within the limitations and under the stipulations by the Act.

   O.C.G.A. Section 50-18-70(f) requires that a determination of access to records be made within three (3) business days.
